"You should get more sleep."
I bet you hear it all the time.
"Why not go to bed earlier?"
"You're not getting enough sleep."
"You need to get more rest."
Ok, but HOW?
Many of my Hashi's clients have trouble getting to sleep and staying asleep. Some are able to fall asleep easily, but still wake up feeling exhausted. What gives?
Hashimoto's and hypothyroid can cause our adrenals to get really out of whack. We're exhausted, but we can't sleep. I like to call it "wired but tired."
I can't tell you how many times I've gotten in bed early ready to get a good night's rest only to lie awake FOR HOURS.
Hashi Girl Healing: Sleep will teach you the 6 components of a sleep routine that has helped hundreds of my clients (and ME!) to fall asleep and wake up feeling rested.
Over the next 7 days, I'll teach you how to set your sleep interval and when the "golden hour" is for girls with adrenal issues. I'll give you strategies and tips on how to set technology boundaries in the bedroom. (That sounds more exciting than it is.) We'll learn about why conventional advice about not eating before bed doesn't always work for HashiGirls. We'll talk about wind-down activities like journaling and reading and how high levels of stress keep us from falling asleep and staying asleep. I'll give you strategies to combat this stress and also recommendations for some sleep aids that actually work.
At the end of 7 days, you'll have the tools and strategies you need to make a difference in how you rest and recover.
