"Why not go to bed earlier?"

"You're not getting enough sleep."

"You need to get more rest."

Ok, but HOW?

Many of my Hashi's clients have trouble getting to sleep and staying asleep. Some are able to fall asleep easily, but still wake up feeling exhausted. What gives?

Hashimoto's and hypothyroid can cause our adrenals to get really out of whack. We're exhausted, but we can't sleep. I like to call it "wired but tired."

I can't tell you how many times I've gotten in bed early ready to get a good night's rest only to lie awake FOR HOURS.
